Hope Flynn, Esq.

I have been practicing law for over twenty years.  I graduated from Albany Law School of Union University in 1994 and received my undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Albany in 1992, graduating cum laude.

I began my legal career at a law firm in White Plains, New York.  There, I handled a variety of both civil and criminal matters.  I moved to New Hampshire in 1998 to work at the Rockingham County Attorney’s Office as a prosecutor.  After working in Rockingham for a couple of years, I joined the Strafford County Attorney’s Office, where I remained for the next fifteen years.

During that time, I prosecuted all types of cases from basic to the most complex.  I drafted thousands of legal documents.  Many of the cases I handled involved extremely sensitive and personal information regarding the people involved.  In those cases, I worked with the victims and witnesses, explaining the process and the law to them.  For most people, the criminal justice system is a totally foreign process.  However, once they knew what to expect throughout the process, it became more bearable for them.

In some cases, litigation becomes necessary.  That is where my years of trial experience come in handy.  I prosecuted thousands of cases.  I tried felony cases in Superior Court before juries and misdemeanor cases in Circuit Court before various judges.

I am admitted to practice in New Hampshire, New York and Connecticut.  I am a member of the NH Bar Association, including the Trusts and Estates Section, the NH Women’s Bar Association, the Rockingham County Bar Association and the Strafford County Bar Association.

On a personal note, I am the proud mom of three sons.  I survive the New Hampshire winters by skiing with my family and reading.  During the summertime, I can be found hauling lobster traps and fishing along the coast with my family or enjoying a bicycle ride on the scenic seacoast.
